Yes. All IDEs can be used as text editors. Actually it is clear that all IDEs are can be used as text editors but not all t ext editors can be used as IDEs. I think for this response, you are looking at it from an intermediate or advanced coder. If you keep a baby in a stroller or walker for while, the baby will always be using that as safety and will never develop. I mean look at the way babies develop. they crawl. they start using the walls as they try too get their balance. they fall a couple of times before walking without help. this is the way a beginner developer should learn. do you get my point?
